The electronic steering suddenly went out while driving. Became an intermittent issue for a couple days and then fully died all the components and fuses have been checked. Just a service steering light on the dash is on, once the problem started. I am an independent technician. The vehicle can be inspected at any time. There was no warnings or any symptoms the power steering just turned off and became incredibly hard to use.

For past nine months vehicle power steering intermittently stops working while operating vehicle. Inquired with dealer about NHTSA recall VB8 ... NHTSA 19V757000. Dealer indicates my vehicle VIN is not included in this recall. However, this is a manufacturing issue that has been identified in other 2019 RAM 1500. This problem is a serious safety risk--especially, not knowing the moment when the power steering will fail. This problem has been occurring intermittently for past nine months.

The leather-wrapped dashboard on my 2021 Ram 1500 is bubbling and delaminating on both the driver and passenger sides. The material is lifting and separating from the base, creating glare and reflections that impair forward visibility while driving.
